Inspired by her work as a stylist in independent film, Nathalie Cassegrain left her native Paris in 2001 with the goal of bringing her discerning sensibilities to New York; hers is a vision that is both idiosyncratic and uncommon to the American experience.
Nathalie's sets are minimalist, yet reflective of myriad talents culled from client and team involvement. Foremost are a global aesthetic and a narrative borne of multicultural experience and world travel. Nathalie stands witness to a breadth of experience, that, when merged with commercial, print and editorial objectives, yields special attention.
An organizational master at the onset of production, Nathalie sources and perfects drafting and storyboard – applying her craft for film projects with luminaries such as Jim Jarmusch, her work in advertising print for Ines Van Lamswerde and Vinoodh Matadin, and, most recently, her experience coordinating design for Hermes on location in Paris.
Nathalie assembles production designs internationally with ease and structure. Her execution reflects extensive sourcing experience; she enables the client to produce concepts within budgetary confines. Technically superior and stylistically evolved, Nathalie Cassegrain offers a style of fusion drawn from the fashion industry's most influential cities.
